British investors piled into U.S. equity funds at the fastest rate in at least nine years in February as tech stocks drove American markets to record highs, fund network Calastone said on Tuesday. Just over 2.5 billion pounds ($3.17 billion) flowed into North American equity funds last month, Calastone said, the most on the company’s nine-year record. UK investors have been sucked into a powerful rally that has been driven by excitement about artificial intelligence and the Federal Reserve potentially soon cutting interest rates.
