Speculations Surrounding NFL Draft: NFC East Teams Fear Bijan Robinson Might Join the Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles have a reputation for being active on draft night trades, and there are speculations that they could potentially trade down a spot or two to justify selecting Bijan Robinson. The Eagles had a strong offensive showing in the 2022 season, ranking just behind the Chiefs in total yards with 6,614, and placing among the top five in points scored, touchdowns, and first downs.

Despite losing Isaac Seumalo to the Steelers and Andre Dillard to the Titans in free agency, Philadelphia still boasts an All-Pro quarterback, an All-Pro wide receiver, two All-Pros on the offensive line, and star power at every position.

NFC East teams fear Bijan Robinson joining the Eagles, as reported by James Palmer of the NFL Network. Robinson, a Texas All-American running back who had a top-30 visit in Philadelphia, has the potential to turn an already dynamic offense into an almost unstoppable juggernaut.

With 1,580 yards and 18 touchdowns on the ground last season, Robinson is a dynamic three-down running back that broke 91 tackles. His Marshall Faulk-style smoothness on the field would complement Jalen Hurts at the quarterback position. Furthermore, Robinson’s ability as a pass-catcher would add an additional layer of explosiveness to the Eagles’ offense alongside Rashaad Penny.

Acquiring Robinson on a rookie deal would allow Brian Johnson’s offense to develop around a game-changing dual-threat running back, providing relief to the All-Pro quarterback Jalen Hurts. With these potential implications, it’s no wonder that NFC East teams are speculating about the possibility of Robinson joining the Eagles.
