Consumer-focused startup Inflection AI’s chatbot Pi now has more than 1 million daily active users and the Microsoft-backed firm has upgraded the artificial intelligence powering the tool, it said on Thursday. The high-profile startup has launched Inflection-2.5 to compete with rival models including OpenAI’s GPT-4 and Google’s Gemini. The upgraded model is available to Pi’s users from Thursday on pi.ai, iOS, Android, and the company’s new desktop app.
