COCHRANE – Cochrane is tightening up its rules for people attending council and committee meetings. According to the town, it received legal advice to add to its procedural bylaw to protect council. The goal of the approved motion, which was brought up by Coun. Rodney Hoogenhoud at Tuesday’s (Feb. 27) meeting, is to provide a clear understanding of what’s permitted and prohibited in council chambers.
